Bomber from French Broad during RBWG. This is well filtered and copper hued. A little soapy off white head. I smell light onions and resin with tangerine under that. The flavor begins with a bitter bite. It is bready with a big complex hop profile. Those tangerines, tropical fruit. Vegetables are tasted late and dry bitterness after that. The finish was Tropical fruit with dry citrus. It is unusual for an IPA to go through as many changes as this one is and that is just flat out fun. So glad I bought a bomber instead of having a sample. The feel is active and a bit resinous. deyholla (12038) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 7, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice grassy and pine note with a bit of earthy grain. Flavor is similar with a grassy and a growing pine note and a bit of resin. drsordr (2798) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Draft at brew pub dark golden. Nose floral and slight soapy. Bitter up front. Early mid palate mild sweet. Nose doesn’t carry through the flavor. Bitter finish. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 7, 2014
On tap @ French Broad. Pours a clear golden orange appearance with a white head. Orange pledge, pine, sweet nose. A bit goopy. Fairly high sweetness and bitterness. Wrong, sticky mouth feel. Citrus. OK. Dogbones (116) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Thanks Andy for the pour at the source. Pre RateBeet WG hand shaking. Pours transparent with a nice head. Lacing. Smells of floral hops. Light citrus smell. Nice dank taste. Pine and citrus. Tasty beverage. Will enjoy again.

Draft to taster at French Broad. Looks good; a transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; hoppy with a fairly sweet pale malt backbone. Solid on the palate. Enjoyable. Iphonephan (7200) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2013

11/26/13. On tap at Barley’s, downtown Asheville. Amber orange pour with a nice khaki head. Was digging the aroma on this. Citurs, dank, pine, some resin, hints of caramel. The flavor was a bit disappointing. More towards the malty side of balance, caramel, bready, some hop bitterness and lingering citrus. Not bad. deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Bomber. Clear copper with white head; minimal lacing. Aroma is resin, citrus and bready malts. Taste is slightly sweet giving way to a lasting bitterness - grapefruit. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A good IPA, but not a standout for me.
