Unclear matt medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, rye, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, rye, hoppy, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Fairly solid body, rich caramel, a sweet maltiness and a little perfumy hops leading to a rather bitter finish. Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear russet with a creamy head. Some bready malts in here with light pine, grains, orangey citrus. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly toasted bread to finish, moderate sweetness, some pine and ripe citrus. OK. Tasty but simple.
