Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head, a bit darker than exspected. Starts malty spicy with mild sourish notes in the background. Earthy touch. Finish well balanced, still fine malty, hints of caramel. Nice! fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2011

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.
Clear medium amber orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted, dusty maly, light nutty, light caramel, light to moderate hoppy, dusty hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled (from landbierparadies.com). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is wooden, resiny, mildly nutty as well as quite strong caramel maltyness. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild rye and toasted notes along with some wooden and mildly fruity notes as well. Pleasant Märzen. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Dark burnt orange, clear appearance with a light brown head. Toasty malty, light caramel, a touch nutty, grassy, herbal aroma. Chewy yeasty, toasty malty, cracker, a touch burnt, floral flavor. Not bad. MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2009
Bottle, 5.3% bought at the brewery. Sweet and slightly spicy aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Nice stable creamy tan head. The flavour is mostly sweet, has a little spiciness, but still on the malty side.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light to medium amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, apricot), with light notes of ripe peach, cantaloupe.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
This one plays it too safe and simple, and I almost gave the aroma a 6 for being so damned docile, but there are some very enticing sweet-fruity notes that keep me coming back. Very nice balance and pretty clean as well, which is more than I can say for a lot of things I’ve sampled so far on this trip. A very solid but rather unassuming lager. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2003
Copper color, small head, fading slowly. Creamy aroma with plums. Sweetish, just a bit hoppy flavor. Grapes and plums. Fruity and bitter aftertaste. Rich beer, in body and flavor. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 2, 2010
(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet cara-malty and slightly nutty aroma with notes of citric and herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Present cara-malty base with nutty and subtle fruity notes; moderately dry and slightly toasty finish with a noble hoppy blend. Again a quaffable brew from Zentbechhofen. 02.V.10 jfb (6256) - GERMANY - FEB 4, 2013

Bottle at the brewery tap. Drunk with the locals. Malty aroma some ok hop good fullness. Decent. I like the malt hop balance. Yes decent sting on finish.
