Draught at Stöhrenkeller, Bamberg. Clear golden, small head. Deep buttery nose. Soft, sweetish malt dried out by grassy hops. Wonderfully well structured malt superbly balanced by the grassy hops. Long but mild bitterness. Orthodox but superb, A fantastic beer, almost iconic in it’s simplicity. MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 1, 2011

Minutious toast is imbued with citrusy, spicy refinement in this fabulously drinkable, dry lager.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A fluffy head of foam protects the clear pale golden shine.
-The nose and flavor profile are multifaceted; very appealing for such a discreet brew.
-The mouthfeel is super clean and supremely drinkable. This is surely a marvelous session lager at the brewery.
-The prickly, forced carbonation fits the flavor profile perfectly, contrarily to their Lagerbier in which effervescence was overwhelming.
Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some sparse sticky trace in the glass. Smell is slightly malty and floral with freshly baked white bread, crackers, cereal, hay, dried flowers, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, tiny malty and flowers. Mouthfeel is tiny sparkling, tiny crisp, slightly round, tiny astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with white bread, cereal, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Lovely drinkable pilsner-like beer. Highly enjoyable! Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2009
draft @ brewery. Golden and clear with gorgeous doily lacing. Aroma is very clean, with cereal and granola. Is a bit thin and watery in the palate. Clean, almost too clean. No farm flavors but every once in a while the hops come out and there are some nice blonde wood flavors too.

Erfrischend malzbetonter Antrunk, der Körper ist gut fruchtig (Grapefruit), dass passt sehr gut zur leichten Malzsüsse. Im Abgang eine harmonische Hopfenbittere, die auch lange am Gaumen bleibt. Ernest (7663) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with a light note of lime zest.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Another nice one from Friedel...they’re not quite "wow" level beers but they are very pleasant and clean. Good stuff. aleigator (945) - GERMANY - FEB 8, 2017
Yields a vibrant gold colored beer, with a small, spongy white head.
Smells of wheat, with a hint of caramel and old grass to it.
Drinks spritzy, yet soft enough to prevent the beer from getting metallic in any way, refreshing and clean.
Tastes of young straw with an immediate grass balance, which results into a doughy toffee flavor. Clean and aqueous with just a light hint of dried herbs remain during midpalate with the same malt intensity. The beer turns dryer during the finish with an equally increasing toffee sweetness, creating a pleasant and crisp intensity, which includes a faint layer of its initial straw richness.
Very well made, clean and focussed with every flavor being well pronounced on its own already, pushing it to a whole new level once everything falls into place. kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, deep golden, nice head. Starts mild dry, malty background, fruity hints of lemon. A little bit metallically, not too much. Finish well balanced, still mild. Good one! Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2006
(On tap) Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a dense, creamy, white head. Extremely floral aroma - almost perfumy, yoy could be tricked to believe that coriander was added. Medium body with sweet malt. Lightly hoppy finish, but this beer is completely dominated by the great aroma hops. 091106
