bottle, Gruß nach Bochum! Hazy golden colour, creamy white head. Lovely and intense aroma of resiny citrus fruit. Full-bodied. Malty base that balances the huge amount of hops very well. Grassy, reisny and citrusy on a good, good malty base. Almost chewable - a delicious and very moreish beer! tony_gorilla (159) - Drammen, NORWAY - MAR 11, 2014
This should be a better beer than i’ve just experienced. It should be very bitter, i thought it was very mild...maby old bottle? maby i’m getting used too more bitter ipa’s? I know i’m getting more and more picky tho. :P
Cheers too Bartlebier for sending me this one as part of the "European Local Swap 4" :) aleigator (945) - GERMANY - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle from P&M-Getränke. Warm amber-yellow color, with a decent head, which leaves a thin lacing.
Warm fruity aromas of mango, kiwi, grapefruit and orange - very great.
Slick fruity mouthfeel, defined by grapefruit, peach, mango, pine, and bready malts. Malt keeps the bitterness in line, both blend well together. Still, this is a very hoppy beer. Carbonation supports it perfect, adds freshness to the fruits with hints of copper, giving the ale more depth. Hops are present from the beginning to the end, get mingled with malt and leave a decent, short bitter aftertaste. Even malt is well recognizable, and adds warmth to the beer, its not as present as the hops are. Interestingly enough those tend to be more fruity, lovely than just bitter, which turns out great. Bottled. Pours unclear darker orange in color with an off-white head. Sweet fruits-in-a-box, mild soapyness and floral notes in aroma. Feels quite fresh. Sweet orange fruityness and notes of grassy and grapefruity bitterness. Tasty, but feels a bit too sweet though. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 33cl bottles @ Edeka Mohr, Bonn 02/2014. 15,5° Plato, brewed at Vormann. bb 31/03/2014. Beautiful gentle fruit basket aroma of ripe peach, pink grapefruit and orange. Caramel Vienna malt carries the Centennial and Columbus pine over orange peel and its Simcoe burnt rubber gorge lurking underneath. Slight residual yeast bitterness. At less than 6% still one of the most authentic Westcoast IPA approximations made on German soil, with only slight rough edges.//2nd bottle, BB31/03/2014, sampled 11/03. Desintegrates pretty fast, weeks before its due date, into a rough, caramel-forward topfermented Vollbier with extra hops. Drink very fresh or from tap! -0.2

Murky dark orange, medium white head. Piney and hops aroma. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Hugi (475) - Waldkirch, GERMANY - JAN 27, 2014
Amber coloured, full, slightly tanned head which remained very stable. at first very clear, later a bit hazy. The smell was very fruity (citurs, mango, strawberries) with hints of sweetness and honey.
Strong bitterness but fruity-resiny with a hoppy aftertaste. Medium carbonation and full body. JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 26, 2014
Flaske, 33 cl, købt i Craft Beer Store. Mht 31.3.2014. 15.5 plato. 62 IBU. Gylden. Simcoe-næse. Frugtig. Grapefrugt. Gran. Smagen er bitter-syrlig-sød. Knapt så citronvands-agtig som mange andre tyske "amerikanere", men stadig lidt for sød til at være rigtig vellykket. hobsch (505) - Cologne, GERMANY - JAN 25, 2014
Bottle 0.33l. Pours hazy deep orange with minimal head. Aroma has resin, citrus, malt. Taste is light sweet, medium to very bitter, citrus, grapefruit. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Bit watery. Overall a good IPA. ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2014
Pours a hazy orangish brown color with a tall tan head. The smell is citrus, grapefruit, some caramel. The taste is big citrus right away, grapefruit then in the middle comes the caramel malt adding sweetness. It ends dry and slightly bitter. The body is light/medium with average carbonation.
