Slightly hazy orange color, good white head. Sour/tart aroma of grapefruit and zest, funky. Light to medium bodied. Funky wild yeast, barnyard, fruity notes and some grapefruity hops. Funky beer all the way. Intentionally? Rated 14.10.2012. Vignale (3988) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 21, 2013
Bottle from beernavigator. Just two months left ’til due. A gusher and lots of foam when poured. Funky and yeast aroma pair with loads of citrus. Sour, lemon, funk, yeast, little bitterness or hop except the sour citrus. Refreshing and drinkable but probably not as i t was intendened. Idiosynkrasie (7858) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2013
330ml bottle. Hazy orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and yeasty aroma has a funky touch, hints of roses and lavender. Taste is minimally sweet with a touch of dextrose, floral hoppy and yeasty, also a tart citrusy lime note. Slightly unbalanced and disharmonic. Brandman (2963) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 31, 2013
Hazy orange body, white head. Arom ahas some tropical fruits, some sweet maltiness. Caramel and exotic fruity soap. Smooth palate. snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - NOV 25, 2012
Tasted from the bottle, on 25/11/2012.
Pours of lovely pale orange color, with a tiny white head.
Aroma is very intense, quite sweet, with lots of tropical fruits, mango tone dominates, slightly piny in the end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and low-to-med carbonated.
Taste is a hell fruity upfront, with tons of citrus fruits coming then.
Aftertaste is medium dry and proper bitter, with a huge piny note.
Pleasant, very drinkable beer, only one small downside - the malt character got lost a bit in loads of hops.

33cl Bottle @ the Diest Bierfestival on 20th Oct 2012.
Interesting to find a British style IPA from Germany at a small town beer festival in Belgium: I had to try a bottle.
Clear, light amber body with a good but thin white head: any sediment stayed in the bottle.
Floral and citrus notes in the nose and taste: pink grapefruit and mild malt sweetness as the beer warms in the glass again in both the aroma and taste.
So, a mainly hoppy German IPA: would have stood up well to most UK brewed IPA’s I’ve had recently. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 20, 2012
The head is medium, the body orange-brown and cloudy. It smells hoppy intensive-creamy, fruity, also malty-creamy. The taste is hoppy, creamy, citrus notes, a bit mango. Still good but not the best from Fritz Ale. Labove (427) - Rome, ITALY - OCT 15, 2012
Che è successo? C’era forse di tutto, diacetile, bretta, luppolo vecchio, troppo cattiva per essere vera. brugmanneke (286) - GERMANY - OCT 8, 2012
(33 cl bottle) Yellow-orange colour, hazy with chunks of sediment, white head. Funky smell. Aroma of lemons and lime, along with some other tropical fruit and an earthy/cellar-like mustiness. Strange combination that takes some getting used to.Taste is medium bitter and rather sour. Tart and dry finish. Hops clashing with the sourness. One could argue that it is reminiscent of Orval’s combination of Brettanomyces-funk and hop-bitterness. Or that the tartness goes well with the heavy citrus aroma. Valid arguments, but sadly, I still find the taste unpleasant and the whole thing unbalanced. At least today. I guess I should try this again in summer, as the name implies. 12/10/11/9/11/11
