COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What started many years ago as a seasonal brew has become a FrogBeer cellar icon! By combining the pleasantly floral aroma of a mild Bobek hop with fresh root ginger, lemon and lime our brewers have created a truly unique beer, notable for its zingy aftertaste and drinkability! Crisp, clear golden amber in colour; fresh, fizzy and full of flavour; we are proud to say that there’s no other beer that we’ve tasted (yet!) that’s quite like our Ginger Twist.

A ginger seasoned Summer lager initially brewed for the 2002 World cup (Coupe du Monde) and formerly known as Coupe du Blonde and at 4.8%.

On tap at The Frog & Rosbif, Paris. Hazy amber, small head. Quite fruity aroma. Very much ginger in the mouth, little bitterness. A bit one-dimensional.

Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2007
Draught at The Frog & Rosbif. Pale golden coloured. Dominated by ginger and butter. Quite disgusting due to a diacetyl infection.

vipinvelp (4600) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - FEB 25, 2014
Clear little pale yellow with no foam left. Aroma has ginger present. So in taste, some barley with stronger ginger notes. Ginger also there in aftertaste, does the name right. (Paris 201402)

teddybeer (4367) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 27, 2015
On tap @ Frog & Princess (Paris). Coppery color with a minimal and quickly diminishing light white head. Aroma has strong notes of ginger with hints of caramel. High presence of ginger on palate. Light red fruits in the aftertaste.

Draft at the Frog & Princess in Paris. Poured a clear orange color. Head was white and left a little lace behind. Distinct, but subdued ginger aroma and flavor with a light citrus malty caramel accents. Interesting beer.

adamnowek (3604) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 25, 2016
Clear brass colour. Strong and fresh ginger aroma. Taste is incredibly fresh ginger with a bit of malt. I could knock back nine of these on a hot day.

Tap at Frog and Risbif, Paris, France.
Pours an average cheddar orange with a nose of ginger and cake batter. (What is it with cake batter in their beers?) Flavor is ginger, watery herbs, and grass. Average mouthfeel. Interesting, for sure.

On tap @ Frog Pub near library. May 06. This was called Frog Natural Ginger, all the difference from the original was an aftertaste of ginger.

06.05.2011. On tap at the Brewpup Frog and Rosbif in Paris. Golden colour with white head.Aroma totaly dominated by ginger. This is a little strange but I actually thinks its quite good. There is also some spicy hops. Very refreshing beer.
