From cask at Guildford Arms. Pours clear and deep amber golden with a deep reddish glare. Aroma is fruity and mild acidic to citric. Flavour too is quite citric yet with a solid roasted note. Smooth malty and roasted finish. Ungstrup (38902) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2003
[Bottle conditioned] The aroma is sweet, malty with smoked notes. The color is brown and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is strong, sweet with strong notes of roasted bread, roasted malt, and a little smoked malt. A great beer - great palate for 5.6% ABV. joergen (29598) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2005

Bottled. Deep ruby. Complex vinuous nose. Full bodied and deliciously malty with soft mouthfeel. Flowery, orangey and very bitter finish. A winner in my book! Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2005
