Growler from ElMatador at the Solan’s Mom Throwdown. Tart and fruity with alot of citrus hop presence. Nice light bread and caramel finish tempered by some light citrus hops. Well done session beer. DragonStout (1416) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - JUL 12, 2008
Growler courtsey of ElMatador.Poured a copper color with a small white head. The nose was hoppy with some citrus.Flavor was the same. This was easy drinking and finished off slightly hoppy and bitter.Thanx James! CheesedMan (555) - Saint Cloud, Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2008
Elmatador, thanks a bunch. Hazy, marmalade color when poured. Grain and yeast dominate the aroma, there are some hoppy notes peaking through. Flavor is balanced and quenching, very drinkable. juiceisloose (1492) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2008
Growler courtesy elmatador00, thanks James. The aroma shows toasted bread and grains, some light caramel, and a touch of citrus hops. The flavor follows the same with the toasted bread and caramel adding some sweetness that is followed by the citrus hops and some bitterness. Light bodied and very easy to drink with a smooth refreshing finish. A nice little session beer. hopscotch (11159) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2008
Growler... SMAACMSM O-Town Throwdown, Part Sept... Cloudy orange lager with a tiny, fizzy, white head. Earthy, herbal notes of black tea and corn. Medium-bodied with middling carbonation. Excellent balance... moderate citric bitterness; modest caramel sweetness. Crisp, lightly bitter, refreshing finish. Not one of my favorite styles, but Kevin did a nice job with this one. Should prove to have “mass appeal” at the brewpub.

Growler, thanks elmatador00. Poured copper/amber with a small white head. Big nose of citrus hops with some toasted malts poking through. Very nice. Smooth malt and crisp finish with some citrus hops in the flavor, though not a prominent as the nose. Quite nice, very sessionable! Thanks again! dchmela (3070) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2008
Growler, courtesy elmatador00. Pours a light copper color with a thin white head. Has a nice malty aroma with a hint of some grassy citrus hops. Taste is smooth, malty and crisp with a hint of grassy hops. Tasty beer for the style. mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - JUN 1, 2008
Growler, courtesy elmatador00. Thanks James. Pours a slightly hazy amber color, with a small off white head. Smells of some light caramel malt, juicy citrus hops, and a touch of grapefruit. Not too shabby. The flavor was a little sweet, almost had a cinnamon thing going on, with some hop bitterness that shows up in the finish and lingering aftertaste. Pretty drinkable california common. Nice flavor and pretty refreshing. mcbackus (758) - Merritt Island, Florida, USA - JUN 1, 2008
growler courtesy elmatadoor00: pours a golden colour , very small white head, some small floaties. aroma is tasty grain, and caramel malt. flavour is a bitter , toasted grains , grasssy notes some cereal grain. Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 1, 2008
Growler, courtesy elmatador00. Pours a clear copper-orange color with a small, off-white head. No lacing noted. The aroma shows notes of toasted bread, caramel, cereal grains, and a light, grassy hoppiness. Flavors basically follow suit, with lightly caramelized, biscuity sweetness being balanced by dry grains and delicate, bitter grassy notes. Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, smooth session beer. Nice example of the style.
