Aroma is citrus/fruit, hops and slightly floral. The flavor is citrus/fruit, biscuit malts, slightly earthy and a very bitter finish. vipinvelp (4427) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2015
Opaque golden, off-white lacing foam head. Hoppy aroma, not outspoken. Nice bitter taste, chinook, still sweet under current. OK beer. (Davenport 201510) jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - AUG 2, 2015
From the tap poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Grassy hippy flavor with a lingering aftertaste. ajnepple (6621) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2015
On tap at the brewery as Simcoe IPA. Gold and clear appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of resinous hops, pine and citrus fruits. Similar flavor, adding a moderate bitterness and a light malt sweetness with a touch of caramel and toffee. Medium body with a creamy feel and a smooth finish. OK. On tap poured into a 4 oz sampler glass. The aroma is a potent citrus peel and spruce with a light toasted caramel. It’s a clear, dark orange amber beer with a medium white ring and a light island puff. It leaves a good, micro bubble lace. The taste is a balanced medium high sweet and bitter. A soft carbonation comes with a thin, slick texture and a medium full body. A dry, resinous grapefruit finishes the beer with a sweet, malty caramel. The aftertaste is a strong grapefruit bitter with some biscuit notes.

Kind of an English style with more focus on the malt and less on the hops. It has a nice caramel malt aroma and the flavor has it too. The hops are more of a compliment to balance. boogerracing (63) - Iowa, USA - JAN 9, 2013
This is one of my favorites. Great hops from the nose to the palate. Nothing but fun to drink! barleyPops (1142) - Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA - APR 10, 2006
on tap at the brewpub. for an IPA, this one left a lot to be desired! where were the hops? it looked great, orangy amber with good lacing as I worked my way down the pint glass and medium-bodied, but none of that strong hop profile that leaves you wanting more.
