Draft sample at brewpub, clear pale-golden color with white head. Aroma notes of light pale malt sweetness and faint fruitiness. Taste adds some cereal and grass hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Very well made craft kolsch, solid. 60minuteman (1715) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Light passing through the gold color topped with a heady 2 finger foam. Aroma of bananas, cloves. Cucumbers, hops, lemon, peppercorns, pine. Earthy and natural it is a great session beer. Front Street represent! Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2014
From draft sampler at the brewpub on August 7, 2013 under the name "Front Street Coastal Kolsch" . Clear light yellow color, moderate bittersweet aroma, somewhat creamy texture, moderate bittersweet flavor with a bitter bite at the end. A not bad hot weather cooler. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 24, 2013
Draught in a flight at the brewpub under the name "Coastal Kolsch." Poured very clear and golden with almost no head on it. Nose had a lot of corn with some grains coming off it. Taste was actually quite crisp and nicely dry. Good drink. Sikash (240) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Served in a tasting glass. Pours a clear golden color with minimal white head. Little aroma of fruits and some light malt. Interesting malt bitterness with some fruity notes to it. Mouthfeel is light but decent carbonation. Decent not great.

No Head, light golden color, bitting and bit too flavorful for this light style. Plenty of delicates fruits though. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - SEP 30, 2012
On tap. Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Scent is grains. Taste is grassy and tart. Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 23, 2012
Served on draft at the brewpub. Listed under the "Coastal Kolsch" name. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of cereal grains with a faintly sweet finish. The taste is tart grains, green apple and grass. Medium bodied, low carbonation. NachlamSie (3483) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Mug at the brewery. Pours a light gold. Aroma is soft and a little fruity, surprisingly. A dash of papery hops is here. Flavor is super light but has that mild fruitiness like apples, some hops. This is a light beer for sure, but it’s clean and refreshing at least. Foxbush (2029) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 14, 2010
This is a popular beer at Front Street. The beer poured a clear yellow. It is a light bodied beer. The draft had nice head . The wheat malt gives it a unique taste. It is good everyday beer. Nothing special.
