On tap at The Derby Winter Ales Festival, Feb. 17, 2017. Mildly hazy bright yellow golden. No head. Pine and sweet oranges dominate the aroma, with herbs and mild medicinal notes in the background. Milky texture, medium body. Soft carbonation. Medicinal notes feature along with tangy tropical fruit in the beginning, followed by bitter hops and pinewood toward the middle. Finish has resin and grapefruit, with floral hops. Aftertaste is long and increasingly bitter, with mild citrus. Good, interesting medium velocity APA.

Cask at NWAF, Derby, Wednesday 17th February 2016 Warm gold-orangey coloured beer with a filmy head on top. Yes this is bloody good, touch soapy but afterwards you note that the hops are really assertive and hang round like a good fart (but smell better) Nice dry finish, rippling hops across the roof of the mouth, punchy citrussy bitter thrust. It’s a very good beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Light pale malts, not that sweet. Apple, not too strong. Mild orange marmalade and floral bitterness. Light dry bitterish finish. Passable.
