It pours crystal clear and semi pale golden. Aroma of wheat and grains and slight yeast. Some hops. Taste is starting off with sweetness from the malts and the it fades and it becomes a grainy non-bitter concoction. Mouthfeel is Watery, carbonation is medium.

On draught at the source in large quantities. For a place in the heart of where all the tourists are, they sure do put out a clean, crisp brew. Soft bitterness with a tiny fruity touch.

Poured from a 11.2 oz bottle. Head didn’t last long. Not sweet tasting but not overly bitter either. Actually quite drinkable. Small aftertaste, but didn’t stop me from enjoying it.

Bottle at The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, some fruity esters, slight lemon and subtle spicy, herbal hops. Taste of bready malts, grain, some fruit, slight lemon, a little vegetable and subtle spicy, herbal hops. Light to medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, dry, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. True to Kolsch style, hoppy with fruity esters and a dry finish. Not as crisp and refreshing as I wanted but still decent.

ozzatoadisback (173) - ITALY - MAY 13, 2017
Pale golden, visible carbonation. Medium white head, decent retention and a bit of lacing. Delicate aroma of hay and cereal, slight grassy and floral hints, touch of citric fruitiness and a soapy hint. Overall a very clean and surprisingly complex aroma given it’s mildness. Taste notes follow the aroma with medium sweetness and low to medium bitterness, overall in very good balance and nicely refreshing. Light bodied with average carbonation, pleasantly lively on the mouth while still going down very easy. A mild beer in terms of intensity, but refreshing and very well crafted. Highly enjoyable.

several draught 0.2 l @ Früh am Dom, Cologne (April 22, 2017). Appearance is golden, very clear and with a very big head. Taste is crisp - like your average lager but with additional taste of fruits (from the top fermenting yeast). Excellent.

Dal9000 (633) - Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2017
At the brewery in Cologne Germany. Pours golden yellow with a thick tall head. In a stange glass. Crisp taste of a slightly sweet mild bread pilsner with a delicate almost not there hint of citrus. You got to admire a brewery that keeps bringing a perfectly poured beer until you put a coaster on top of your 0.35 l glass! ---Rated via Beer Buddy
