Pours a yellow colour with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet malt with grass with hints of hops. Taste is grassy with some light fruits leading to a light hoppy finish. Quaffable but not a stand out. dreamflower (791) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 29, 2011
I may be biased having tried these at the brewery in Cologne, but I really enjoyed this refreshing beer in the cute little glasses. cards04 (2872) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 27, 2011
Enjoyed this with dinner in Cologne - and then I enjoyed a few more...until I finally put the coaster on top of the glass. A solid german beer - nice white head. Zita (6331) - Assentoft, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2011
cereal, toast, pale, clear, white foam, light sweetness, light body, thin feel, flat, light watery finish.

Although an enjoyable beer each time I’ve had it, it is dificult to rate objectively, because it has tasted very different to me each time I’ve had it: at the brew pub, in other pubs around Koln, and then from the bottle. Not a great beer with food, best drunk alone.
Rasmus40 (21695) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2011
Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 031211 ken1 (2079) - DENMARK - DEC 3, 2011
A pretty boring beer. Light in colour, with a white head. Taste like a pilsner. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 2, 2011
On draught at Früh Am Dom. Pours a clear straw color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Patchwork lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, mild hops and ripe fruit. The finish is malty and sweet. Decent Kölsch overall. kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Bottle from Rewe. Straw yellow body barely avoids being too pale. Rocky, diminishing white head with little lacing. Grassy and floral noble hops dominate the nose. Light malty sweetness underneath. Grainy, cheerio-s like malt flavor is almost a little too much. Light fruity esters (pear) and low-level hop flavors matching the aroma. Mouthfeel is pretty balanced with regard to BU:GU. Slightly minerally finish. Moderate carbonation. Decent but not great Kölsch. Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - NOV 5, 2011
Clear yellow color. Tiny head tha disappears. Sweet malty, earthy, a slight touch of bitterness in the finish. Rather thin and watery. Refreshing and good for food but nothing special.
