Cask @ Früh am Dom, Köln 06. Clean golden color, very light, a little sweetish, a little yeasty, a little earthy in the aroma, much like an ordinary lager, ok beer to accompany meat, very mild.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale/golden yellow with a slowly diminishing white head. Mild malt aroma with a note of bitterhops. Medium sweet malt and corn flavour. Quite smooth. Shows a mild bitterness into the finish yet the beer remains smoothly medium sweet malt flavoured. Nice one.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2005 [Draft] A light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with light notes of hops. The flavor is grassy and very much like other Kölsch I’ve had. [Bottle] A light yellow beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is hoppy and slightly sour. The flavor is malty and very hoppy, leading to a dry end, but the body is thin. [4/2/5/2/8]

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a frothy, white head. Malty, lightly sweet body with a limited bitterness. Quaffable all right but as with most Kölsches it’s hard to tell it from other mild pilseners. 160800
