3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Corked bottle from La Ferme Vaudoise, Lausanne; vintage 2009, 4 years old
Yellow color, a bit pale and maybe greenish. The aroma is mild, very fresh, of pear. It’s moderately sweet, lean, with some pear juice flavor, relatively low acidity; some pear skins, and mild astringency in the final, also very light tannic bitterness.
Delicate one, but not fully convincing; not complex, not deep; would require more flavor, more sugars, then more acidity.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft - Apple and some tart peel notes. Pale gold. Almost no sweetness and some pear notes. Very true to the fruit but not that desert like.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
375mL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn (thanks Alex), pours a clear pale yellow. Aroma brings out lots of pear skins, sweet pear and a bit of brown sugar. Flavour isn’t very complex or elegant, bringing out boozy pears, booze, and some murky chalky notes. A bit rough but pleasant overall. Good.
