Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 23, 2011
Bottled 50cl. It pours a golden beer with a white head- gushing. Strong reminiscence of cork, glue and cheese in the nose. Salmon showing up in the taste. Late bitterness. Weird and not enjoyable. Quack-Duck (9534) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2011
bottle from Bierzerg. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Malty, slightly hoppy. I liked the Helles much better, because it was even more hop-accented. mile (4056) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 13, 2010
Bottle. Light yellow. Small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and bread with vegetable like hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty flavor with some sweetness and caramel, light bitterness. Finish is short to medium, malty and sweetish. Quite light bodied and sweetish pils – not very special. Bottle 50cl. @ home. Oakes (19010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 24, 2009
Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Fresh. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
Golden-copper colour with a thick head. Copper-smelling hop nose with a slight herbal, slightly caramelly accent. Dry, herbal and fairly minerally character with a caramelized sugar sweetness. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2009
Draft at brewery. Medium gold with thick lasting foamy head. Aroma is slightly sour, almost cheesy with an earthy hop. The flavors are better. The hops are floral, leafy, and very dry yet with a sweet malt undertone. Ends up being surprisingly bitter and refreshing. jonas (8155) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 3, 2007
Bottle, kindly sent to me by pivnizub. Pale golden, white eggshell foam. Light cookie nose. Light malt base, orangepeel zestyness, light hop aromatics - light, very fitting dry finish, light citrus retronasal. Sparkly on the tongue. Not a flavor-bomb, but well crafted and enjoyable. MoritzF (10129) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - OCT 29, 2007
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, not very persistent foamy white head. Sweet, slightly bready, soft-grainy malty nose with a whiff of herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium body with a medium carbonation. Pretty malt-accented for a Pils, light bready, slightly chalky taste; medium-dry, malty finish with light herbal hopyy accents. Rather unconvincing for a Pils, otherwise a drinkable Helles.
