Cask @ 2nd Saltburn Beer Festival. A clear light brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of fruits like cerries, some caramel with hops. The taste of sweet fruits, moving to some hop bitter. The aftertaste is bittersweet. Svesse (8972) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 12, 2011
(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 27 Nov 2010) Ruby red colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, dark bread, caramel and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Good balance between spicy hops and solid malt. Nice one. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2010
Cask at The Green Man, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Very dark brown with a creamy off white head.. Coffee and sour milk aroma. Some dark fruit in the background. All very pleasing. Taste has dates, raspberries, green apple, espresso, and a little sourness. Mid bitter finish. Complex and exceptionally good. joe19612 (3138) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2010
