Nose: mandarin orange with some tart funk. Has a floral edge. (lvl-5)-pungency
Attack: crisp-dull, citrus sour tart impression
Mid-palate: (lvl-3-sweetness), tart medium sour funk, persistent tanginess, dull mandarin orange, background malt
Finish: linger citrus peel bitter, mild orange exhale
Summary: Totally not what I was expecting, and not in a good way. The sour tart funk comes across as abrasive and unpleasant when combined with the bitter profile which has major orange pith nuances - the rough kind you get when you leave a slice of lime in water for a prolonged period of time. Drinkable, but not very enjoyable. Dull, disjointed, and not much of an IPA while taking the worst parts of a mandarin orange. 4 Mile Brewing's Mandarin IPA [B+] is much better.
2017-09-01. Hazy orange body, modest off white head. 3+ Aroma is nice, Tangerine citrus and light green hop touches. 7+ Flavour has interesting bitter tangerine character throughout, lingers into the aftertaste. 7+ Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Tasty. 7/3/7-8/3/16+ Bottle shared by Kory. Crit (4049) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 7, 2017
Murky amber, beige head. Sulphury notes in nose and palate. Light orange with medium hop bitterness. Likely their poorest effort to date mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 1, 2017
On tap at St Augustine’s, pours an opaque bright orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out muddy oranges, yeast and citrus hops. Flavour is very dirty and muddy, with lots of yeast, dirty earthy hops and obscured mandarin oranges that leave a sharp acidity on the finish. Dirty and uncoordinated. This is pretty lame. Opaque. Thin head. The nose is orange juice and a bit of weedy hop. Orange juice palate, a touch tart because they dumped orange juice in the beer. The malts are slightly muddled, the bitterness not that pronounced. It’s ok, if a bit goofy.

650 ml bottle. Pours a turbid opaque orange/gold with full head. Aromas of oranges pith, tar and dull wheat. Flavors of same with just a hint of tartness. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2017
Draught at the brewery
Cloudy orange-blond color. The aroma Is mildly fruity, citrusy, musky. Lean mouthfeel with moderate residual sweetness; it’s very yeasty, and the orange contributes to some pithy bitterness in the final.
Very dirty, and clumsy.
