The first whiff of the beer was great. Slightly tart, the right amount of sweetness, and goes down easily.

On tap. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a medium, creamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of strawberry, wheat malt and yeast. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, strawberry, yeast, honey and lactose with a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing and easy drinking. Very hazy with strong strawberries sweet nose. A touch of plastic, slight sour but ok. Still plastic interferes with overall beer. Not bad. bulldogops (2740) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 4, 2017
Rating #2589 - 2016.05.13 - Fuggles&Warlock TT @revolutionyeg Pours a hazy pinkish, not much head. Aroma is sweet (quite yeasty, strawberry jam). Taste is grainy, with a hint of berry on the tongue as well, mild spice. Finish is quite crisp, and extremely refreshing. Certainly adds the wit component as opposed to just jam action. From a bomber bottle, bright white stuff on top of the white-yellow stuff called body, lots of clear-white things called bubbles, meh. Huge cloying sugar sweetness on this like the bad fruit beer experiments from Belgium (not the good ones... the good ones are, well, good). Apple syrup aroma; like that one bottle I bought in Paris some years ago that was just carbonated apple juice. Strawberry you say though. Flavour is more balanced - strawberry comes through, well balanced with the wheat, but I can’t say that the two work well with each other. It’s like the flavour profiles were well done but the end result, well, just isn’t that interesting. But it did grow on me and now that I’m at the end of this bomber I find the balance to be pretty good... that initial aroma is the problem. Not a bad fruit beer, smarts on subtlety which is something I do appreciate.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Cloudy pale white-ish yellow with very slight pink tinge and white head. Creamy milky strawberry with yeasty wit and coriander. Blended surprisingly well. MissAnthropic (68) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 16, 2016
Nose is almost unpleasant strawberries flavouring, pours thick hazy and pale. The palate however is creamy with a lovely exhale of macerated strawberries and cream. Subtle tartness and just awesome flavour. I’m surprised how bad the nose is compared to the beer. Listigovers (1343) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2016
Huge aroma like strawberry icecream, looks like grapefruit juice. Creamy top of the head, good candy like flavour, not too sweet, nice belgian character, dessert type beer but refreshing. beerplace (2146) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 7, 2016
On tap at Darby’s. Pours a hazy straw with a white head. Aroma is classic for Belgian witbiers with easy noticable sophisticated raspberry notes. Same character taste. Good, refreshing beer. rubyroo (146) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 31, 2016
Aroma- Wheat malt, under ripe strawberries, milk, yeast. Appearance- cloudy yellow/orange, small ring of foam. Taste- strawberry milk, wheat, citrus, coriander. Palate- light/medium bodied. Above average effervescence. Overall - Decent wit with good strawberry flavour that doesn’t finish overly sweet. Quaffable and a great hot weather beer.
