Bottle 2011 edition. Hazy chestnut brown with no head. Aroma is Christmas spices - cloves, orange peel being most dominant with some caramel too. Taste is light sweet, but turns watery followed by heavy spices. Tried the 2012 version later, which is lower in abv and more toned down on the spices. Very christmassy. charlotte (5461) - rødovre, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2012

Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, spicy, christmas spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 6.5% as Kølster Julebryg 2011. Very spicy aroma. Brown sugar, cookie. Hazy dark brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is also spicy like the aroma. A bit rough maltiness along with some aniseed in the finish. Very spicy, but not bad. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle, 75cl corked. As Julebryg 2011. It’s a clear, brown beer with a minimal sized light beige head. Lots of spices in the aroma, cloves, anise and probably more. Caramel maltyness. Spiced, toffee flavor with some dried fruits and a little bitterness. Full-bodied and smooth. Too spiced for my likings, but not really bad in any way. 120218 chrisv10 (18733) - DENMARK - FEB 18, 2012
