On tap at KØ-10. It’s a clear, golden beer with a decent off-white head. The aroma has a nice, hoppy fruityness, but also too much caramel. Quite nice though. The same goes for the flavor, it’s a bit heavy on the caramel, both to suit my palate and to style. There’s a good fruityness and a decent bitterness though, but not enough to deal with the caramel. Bitter finish. Medium body, rather dry. A decent beer indeed, probably the most tasteful from Fuglsang. 100508 gunnar (9178) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 25, 2010
Bottle from Aakjærs, Esbjerg. Pours dark golden with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma is rich caramel, some floral and citrusy hops, very nice. Taste is full of malty richness, nice balanced against the fruity hops presence. Smooth mouthfeel.Sharpens up towards the end, and a delicate almost peppermint hoppy twist finishes this off. Good one.

21-AUG-2010, bottle @Erik, brough and served blind by Gert.
Orange amber with lasting almost white head.
Hoppy bitter nose with grape fruit and pine.
Quite a malty background if this is an IPA, as is my guess, with a fine long bitter aftertaste.
A pale ale?
Well, a very dark one, but anyway a fine beer and a comeback from the bock I had yesterday.
Now I understand this beer made into the 10 best brews in DK last year according to DØE. Zita (6325) - Assentoft, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2010

Can, 50cl. Pours a clear amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with spices. The flavor is sweet, malt, toffee and hops with spices and grapefruit. The palate is bitter. Overall a really good beer. beerbrat99 (132) - Shanghai, CHINA - JUN 12, 2010
Thanks for the gift Harvey! A 12 oz bottle. Pours a lovely orange hue with a nice white dense head. The foam is rocky and sticks around. Aroma of grapefruit, melon and slight note of pine. Definetly US hops being used with enough hop aroma to suggest dry hopping. The taste is some malty caramel with forward bitterness and a delightful mild bitterness in the finish. The finish is moderately dry which keeps me coming back for another drink. A very drinkable pale ale made in Europe.....WTG! Plovmand (8352) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2010
Can. Clear amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is pine, flowers, grass and caramel. Fresh fruity, hoppy piney flavour with some caramel and malty notes. Light alcoholic finish - where that ever came from....
