COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Can, 50cl. Pours a clear amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with spices. The flavor is sweet, malt, toffee and hops with spices and grapefruit. The palate is bitter. Overall a really good beer.

0,5 l can from SuperBest, Hals, Denmark. Misty sparkling deep golden body with a small white head. Floral, piny, polleny malty nose. A malty sweetness quickly recedes to a pungent resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, carbonation on the heavy side and a lasting bitter finish.

Bottled. This bottle has the name Easter Bird but I’ve heard that is just an alias for this (Early Bird) particular easter beer. Pours out in a clear pale amber colour with a cotton-like lasting white foam. Really fruity and aromatic aroma of mandarin and mild flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh but overpowering notes of of resin, mandarin, lemon-rind and mild grass. Gentle and smooth mouthfeel. Long medium-bitter finish of oily grassy hops, mandarin and lemon-zest.. I’ve never sampled a beer from this brewery before and I’m pleasantly surprised.

Dåse: Orange klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Dejlig duft af citrus og tydelig amerikansk humle som lovet. Ikke så megen bitterhumle hvilket gør øllen særdeles drikbar. Positivt overrasket.

Can. Hazy golden pour with a decent head. Actually hoppy with some tropical fruits, hay, some herbal notes and some resin. Actually not that bad considering the other Fuglsang I’ve tried.

Bronze brown ale with nice and frothy whitefoam. Well-hopped nose with fresh grapefruit and hints of mild caramel. Fruity slight sweet taste with gorgeous citrusy aftertaste. Cheap beer with clas and style - this is the one that puts on the dancing shoes and promises summer even if the rain is pouring down.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is of sweet mandarin citrus, green herbs, flowers, dry honey, spicy bread, syrup, dough, nutshells, canned fruits, mild strawberry ice cream and light caramel. Lots of subtle aromas, yet surprisingly simple on the nose. Soft hops alongside a clean, crystal and tiny roasted malt profile. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of bitter herbs, citrus peel, bread, nutshells, fruits, flowers and light dough. The flavour is clean, almost hard with a light papery touch. Medium carbonation. Floral, citric and cookie-like finish. Light to medium bodied. Ok, not fantastic.
