(Bottle) Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is of sweet mandarin citrus, green herbs, flowers, dry honey, spicy bread, syrup, dough, nutshells, canned fruits, mild strawberry ice cream and light caramel. Lots of subtle aromas, yet surprisingly simple on the nose. Soft hops alongside a clean, crystal and tiny roasted malt profile. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of bitter herbs, citrus peel, bread, nutshells, fruits, flowers and light dough. The flavour is clean, almost hard with a light papery touch. Medium carbonation. Floral, citric and cookie-like finish. Light to medium bodied. Ok, not fantastic. tfredvik (2055) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 25, 2015
The first time I had this one it was a few months old, i.e. not entirely fresh. This time, however, it’s a real oldie, it’s passed its best before date by a few days. It pours a crystal clear medium amber body with a rather large, creamy, long-lived head that laces the glass very well. Rather strong aroma that is very malty, but there is still a reasonable amount of hops left: caramel, pale malts and tropical fruits. Fairly strong flavour of caramel, pale malts, tropical fruits and grapefruit, and pine needles in the back. It’s surprisingly tasty for its age, but it was a tad more hoppy and citric half a year ago. Light sweet taste with a pleasant medium bitter finish. It’s quite light-bodied, has a dry texture and is moderately carbonated. A nice one, I’d like to taste a fresh one some day. Jimbo2 (554) - DENMARK - FEB 26, 2017

By no means a revolution, but a very decent Pale Ale by a fairly main stream brewery. Moderate bitterness, flowery hops and well balanced malt. Good - and cheap. stouby (4832) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2009
