Copenhagen 7/8/14. Pours slightly dark yellow with white head hanging as curtains on the side of the glass as it evaporates. Strong fruity slightly perfumed aroma. Fruity taste with long distinct bitter aftertaste. Clearly my favourite from Fuglsang.

Labeled as Easter Bird. Pours a clear amber. Nice frothy head the goes to fine lace quickly. Aroma of caramel, caramel, malt. Hop flavor with a bit of caramel and roast. Lighter bodied brew, but smooth and flavorful. Bitter finish with slight dryness. Good stuff. madsenbryg (371) - Holstebro, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2010

Bottled. This bottle has the name Easter Bird but I’ve heard that is just an alias for this (Early Bird) particular easter beer. Pours out in a clear pale amber colour with a cotton-like lasting white foam. Really fruity and aromatic aroma of mandarin and mild flowers. Medium-bodied with fresh but overpowering notes of of resin, mandarin, lemon-rind and mild grass. Gentle and smooth mouthfeel. Long medium-bitter finish of oily grassy hops, mandarin and lemon-zest.. I’ve never sampled a beer from this brewery before and I’m pleasantly surprised. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2011
Can. Clear deep orange pour, huge rocky solid off-white head. Aroma is buttery, floral hops. Flavor is slightly bitter, fruity, slightly sweet, some floral hops. Very nice balance. Great session ale. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2011
500 mL can courtesy of Plovmand. (The first of many thank-yous, Thomas). Lovely bronze colour with a small, but very sticky, off-white head. Mild aroma of floral hops and a touch of resin. (Simcoe?) The flavour was a big surprise, with lots of caramalt and American hops. The little brother of a good ASA. Very impressive.A lot of flavour for a 5.5% beer. Can from Rema1000 dkr. 10,- Orange copper colour and very nice big beige head. Aroma and taste of US hops, flower, citrus, fruits and a bit chocolate mouthfeel. Very tasty and fresh. Nice prize and value for money. beikes (165) - Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 14, 2014
What a great surprise this was! Fuglsang is a hit or miss for me. They’ve made some great brews and some mediocre brews through the years. Early Bird is an outstanding beer! Lots of Cascade hops dominate, but some slightly fruity sweetness weighs it out brilliantly. Probably the best and most complex brew from Danish Fuglsang. Highly recommend!
