COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Nice fruity hops aroma, berry fruity and slight wooden. Sweet caramel malt flavoured. Bitter, fruity and slight nutty malt and roasted flavoured. Lasting fruity hops impression. Nice one with a good caramel malt balance.

Botella. Clear deep golden amber. Aroma of ripe fruits and good American hoppiness. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good bitter mild fruitiness with toasty caramel and hops along with toasty caramel and a good soft dry bitter finish. The very best Fuglsang I have tasted! Thanks Morten,

Bottle:Clear, amber coloured, stable off-white head; distinctive "american" hops in the nose, completed by roasted malt and brown bread; solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; lingering dry hoppy finish, balanced by juicy dark malt. What a nice surprise ! A superb brew from a mediocre brewery.........

50cl Can. Running into this beer at a discount supermarket (Rema 1000) for 13 DKK (~$2) for a half-liter can, I was a bit skeptical of whether the label "Amerikansk Forårsbryg" would really turn out to be an APA, or some distant travesty of an APA. But it’s a nice example. Nicely hoppy, moreso than most Danish IPAs, and with the right amount of flavorful backing malt. I’d buy it again.

Great Beer from Danish Fuglsang. Used to love The Black Bird, but The Early Bird is realy Good! Fruity taste, lost of bubbles. Great Beer to enjoy at sunset :-)

A beer in okay balance. Maybe a little to much caramel malts, which make it a little sweet. I look forward to see what the new brewmaster will make in the future.
