COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The yeast from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

Can. Hazy golden pour with a decent head. Actually hoppy with some tropical fruits, hay, some herbal notes and some resin. Actually not that bad considering the other Fuglsang I’ve tried.

50 cl [email protected] in lager [email protected] 6 degrees C. Pours amber orange with large white head and sufficient retention. Fruity aroma signalling American hops. Taste a good mix of caramel malt, fruitiness from the hops used and bitterness, especially in the long aftertaste. Well balanced beer. Tasty without becoming extreme, I will certainly buy this again when available. And it is not very expensive either :-)

Flaske. ravfarvet med en hvid skumkrone. Humle i såvel aroma som smag. Her får man god øl til små penge

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a nice caramel amber with a great, creamy, off-white head. Long duration, light lacings. Aroma is lightly fruity hoppy, lots of bready malts. Some sharpish liqourice as well. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet at first, a touch of metal. Nice caramel maltiness with some bready notes. Then comes a good degree of hoppy bitterness. Longish, very dry finish.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2014 Bottle, 5.5%. Good caramelly aroma, distinct American hops. Clear amber colour. Very small head. The flavour is nicely hoppy. Grassy and caramelly, reminding me of American beers, but slightly less interesting. Good, though. 7 3 7 3 16

Can, 5.5%. 5 years later. The aroma is not as inviting as I remember it, and there is not much aroma or flavour hop. The bitterness is still distinct and good, though. 7 3 7 3 13

Amber color with a frothy and good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Taste has a good bitter mild fruitiness with toasty caramel. Dry hop finish. Very good brew Fuglsang.

[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Great surprise from Haderslev. Did not expect that, but the cascade is wellbalanced in normal doses and could do a very great job on tap in the summertime.

Labeled as Easter Bird. Pours a clear amber with a nice head leaving some lacing. Some sweet malty, biscuity aromas as well as a faint of raisins. The hops are present as well with some resins and citrus in the aroma. Taste is malty at first but the hops kicks in towards the end. Medium-bodied.

Nisse666 (7433) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2010
Bottle, 2010-03-18, Göteborg AR: hoppy, red fruits, and some honey sweetness AP: amber body, 3 cm high frothy white foam F: medium + bitterness, hoppy bomb - this is an IPA, not an easter beer! But as an IPA quite OK
