Pours a nice caramel amber with a great, creamy, off-white head. Long duration, light lacings. Aroma is lightly fruity hoppy, lots of bready malts. Some sharpish liqourice as well. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet at first, a touch of metal. Nice caramel maltiness with some bready notes. Then comes a good degree of hoppy bitterness. Longish, very dry finish.
UPDATED: APR 7, 2014 Bottle, 5.5%. Good caramelly aroma, distinct American hops. Clear amber colour. Very small head. The flavour is nicely hoppy. Grassy and caramelly, reminding me of American beers, but slightly less interesting. Good, though. 7 3 7 3 16 HenrikSoegaard (14646) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2009
Can, 5.5%. 5 years later. The aroma is not as inviting as I remember it, and there is not much aroma or flavour hop. The bitterness is still distinct and good, though. 7 3 7 3 13

[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Great surprise from Haderslev. Did not expect that, but the cascade is wellbalanced in normal doses and could do a very great job on tap in the summertime. konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2010
Labeled as Easter Bird. Pours a clear amber with a nice head leaving some lacing. Some sweet malty, biscuity aromas as well as a faint of raisins. The hops are present as well with some resins and citrus in the aroma. Taste is malty at first but the hops kicks in towards the end. Medium-bodied. Nisse666 (8104) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2010
Bottle, 2010-03-18, Göteborg pilsnerrogge (3005) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 26, 2010
AR: hoppy, red fruits, and some honey sweetness
AP: amber body, 3 cm high frothy white foam
F: medium + bitterness, hoppy bomb - this is an IPA, not an easter beer!
But as an IPA quite OK
Bottled as Easter Bird: Forsberg_dk (258) - DENMARK - AUG 7, 2010
Pours clear amber with a creamy head. Nose is butter, hops and soap. Flavour is all about resin-y hops. A bit raw and rough around the edges but still pretty drinkable.
50 cl can, pours dark golden with an ok head, lots of carbonation, aroma of pine and critrus, taste is pine, citrus and malt, not overly bitter, ok finish. decent beer especially considering how cheap it is.
