Bottle (50 cl), courtesy of ingo. Shady pale golden, large white head. Bready malt aroma, slightly fruity, herbal hops. Light to medium bodied, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness. KansaiBeerLvrs (5511) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle from the introductory tameshi set on rakuten. Another solidly made beer from Fujizakura. Clear gold, thin head, light body with a grassy earthy flavor from the hops/malts & a crisp mildly bitter finish. A solid pils but it’s not my favorite style. Like all of their core line very well executed. If you want a light beer in Japan this is much better than the macrobrews. Rated from memory, I’ll grab another soon & re-rate it. biirusaikou (2705) - - AUG 21, 2013
Fresh bread nose. Malt, bready biscuit, some peach, clean finish. Very smooth and enjoyable local pils, brewed using Mount Fuji’s water. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 11, 2013

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2013 Aroma: floral, corn, note of lemon, grainy malt
Flavor: floral, light lemon, grainy malt and slightly earthy hops followed by understated bitterness on the finish.
Comment: the initial flavors are preceded by lively carbonation after which the balanced bittering and grain malt take over. A gentle but not bland pils with some character. I had to raise the palate score to a 4 for it’s overall balance.
Later Tasting: 37-38
Aroma: earthy, grain, light lemon
Flavor: sweet pear, grainy malt initially and finishes with some burnt grain and a good, long bitter finish.

Draught at Watering Hole. Clear yellow - white head. Hay. Sulphor. White bread. Grassy. Clean. Light malty. Light bitterness. Clean fine pilsner - Pleasant. jonno (3015) - JAPAN - AUG 12, 2012
The ugly ducking of the family? The Weiss/Rauch are world class, this is little more than passable. Like a better crafted premium lager. Soft hopping, clean, a tiny bit skunky (not in a C hop good way though) with a a soft bitter finish. Drinkable certainly, but this brewery is capable of MUCH more. omhper (25963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 24, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy straw colour, rich head. Grassy nose. Dry and soft with light body. More soft and edgeless than crisp, so in combnation with low hop rate it apears more as a dry helles. Finishes with fairly low bitterness. Capa (3631) - DC, Washington DC, USA - MAY 12, 2009
Hazy golden with a white head. Crisp hop aroma and light malts. Light grassy hops, fruits, light citrus, and malts in the back of this beer. Refreshing and easy to drink. Tasty.
