Bottle from Beer Ma. Aroma of smoked cheese, wheat and touch of banana. Taste is good. Lots of wheat, sweet ice cream like creaminess. Nice stuff. Would like to try it on tap some time.

Tap at eni-bru. Cloudy bright gold with a solid white finger of foam. Lovely wheat aroma with hoppy citrus, banana, spice. Delicious citrus flavour with a good malt presence, some pear and yuzu notes. Quite a fizziness that is smoothed out by the wheat and ending rather bitter. Fantastic crispness for summer with enough body and flavour to make it last.

Very cloudy, thick head. Has a hoppy aroma, with wheaty and a firm malty backbone, full body.

Tap at Craft Beer Holiday in Osaka. Fat banana nose, tingly in the sinuses with some citrus. I could sit and take this in all day. Very cloudy loquat (yellow/brown) color. Thick and sweet initial, wheaty and crisp in mid. The hops enter at the optimum late mid-palate spot. Medium-heavy body. Not really balanced -- but distinct flavors hold sway together. Really good.

Tap at Osaka Castle. Cloudy, bright yellow with a thick, fine head. Nose of clove, wheat, grain, esters, fruity citrus hops. Great orange and peach hop flavor, full but not heavy. Smooth and full, with a prickly, peppery finish. Great.

As Fujizakura Draft at Craft Beer Holiday. It pours a mellow gold with a dense eggshell white head of foam.

The nose is great eggy rich clove yeast esters with a bready malt base. It’s got a raspy carbonation on a light seeming body for a 6.6% beer which makes it dangerously drinkable. The taste is sweet bready cloves, like a rich pastry with nice residual sweetness. Yum.

very cloudy golden white color. Thick white head. Big banana yeasty nose with big hoppiness. Smooth mouth fairly hoppy with decent bitter finish. Lovely.

Draught at Fujizakura Roppongi. It is the Citra/Mandarina Bavaria version of their solid Weizenbock, works great for me, adding fresh citrus and tropical notes on top of this lovely creamy wheat brew, some tartness there too, nice clean finish. Great stuff, definitely made it worth the visit, should apparently be around for a year or so.

Tap at their new bar in Roppongi. Banana, clove, sweet custard and apples, fullish body. Rich. Lovely take on the style. Top notch.
