i just wrote that the brown ale was my favourite from the flight, but i was wrong. has to be the porter. Earthy, malty, chocolate, sweet all followed by a good amount of bitter from the hops. far, far better than the stout. Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours a dark brown color with a small, off white head. It seems like a cross between the stout and the brown ale. Some nuttiness and light roasted malt notes. Thin body. Not bad.

Aroma mellow mild aroma, slight hint of dark elements. Touch of chocolate . Subdued.
Appearance dark-brownish-black with medium top. Long lasting cap. 4-.
Flavor and Palate : Mild mellow, smooth with fruity mid. Rather sweet with out bitterness to balance. Hint of spice. Felt bit generic.
