On tap at brewery. Pours Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with smokiness and coffee. Flavor is Roasted malt with coffee, chocolate, and caramel and a Roasted finish. woodychevy (874) - - NOV 4, 2013
i just wrote that the brown ale was my favourite from the flight, but i was wrong. has to be the porter. Earthy, malty, chocolate, sweet all followed by a good amount of bitter from the hops. far, far better than the stout. I bit heavier mouthfeel than I am used to with a stout but overall an excellent brew. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - MAY 5, 2013

tap at brewey. dark brown, light head, roasty, bit of chocolate, little thin. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours a dark brown color with a small, off white head. It seems like a cross between the stout and the brown ale. Some nuttiness and light roasted malt notes. Thin body. Not bad.
