Bottle - from sampler pack. Copper-golden color, a bit cloudy. Aroma is strongly of hops. Taste is REALLY hoppy - one of the hoppiest beers I ever had in my life. Evolutionary (503) - Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle from Ty's house. Nose is pure hop. Lots of hop taste. A bit of grapefruit. Overall decent but balance is questionable.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid orangy deep copper with 2-finger off-white frothy well-retained head. Nose is orange marmaladey, black pepper, caramel malt. Tastes resiny, dry, with a big tropical citrus componenet, some black peppery notes, and a big malt bill. Very well made, with good complexity. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2013
On tap at Waterworks Burgatory. Great fresh hop aroma, piney, herbal, and spicy. Medium golden amber clear with thin white head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Sweet with oranges and tons of hop flavor, sticky and bitter. Bitter finish and after. Nice fresh-hop IPA.iclimbandski (2) - Alabama, USA - FEB 2, 2014 does not count

From bottle. Nice hop aroma. Not super fresh but nice resin and fruit rind notes, a little apricot. Mild malt sweetness. Medium orange amber hazy with huge pillowy off-white lacing, lasting head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Light pale malt with a bit of caramel. Big hop flavor. Piney with a bit of fruit rind and apricot. Big bitter from start to end. Acidic tang, too. Bitter after but not astringent or harsh.
Very strong bittering and aroma hops. Strong enough back end to support the hoppiness, but I would like a little more malt personally. Great beer overall from my favorite Pennsylvania brewery.

I really like this one. Citrus hops, oranges, sweet caramel, clean grains and hints of pine. Nice medium body. Not as dry as most IPAs. Patt79 (1) - Cheswick, Alabama, USA - MAR 9, 2017 does not count
Really like this bitter but not too bad on alcohol volume IPA. Smoother than most I’ve had. BoogieB (8) - Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2010 does not count
Finally... an IPA that features chinook hops. What this beer isn’t... an aggressive American IPA. What it IS... is a great example of an IPA that is just that... an IPA. It isn’t over the top. It has a nice body, and it’s easy to drink. What is even better is the fact that it features chinook hops which you really just can’t find. The taste and aroma of chinook is awesome... yet underrated. Over the top is nice... but sometimes you just want a hop focused IPA that is way easy to drink. This is one of them. Get yo self some of these. I could drink these all night!!! bigalittlea (18) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2013
pours a nice hazy gold. aroma of (surprise) chinook hops. standard pine resin characteristics with sweet grapefruit. flavor is even heavier on the pine with a nice kind of apricot jam-on-toast finish.
very nice beer.

Bottle from World Wines. Very fresh (BB Dec something, 2013). Hazy copper with lasting head and lace. Woody piney citrus hops. Mild peach fruit sweetness with medium assertive woody grapefruit pine woody hop lingering grapefruit resiny finish. Nice medium body with good carbo to accentuate the hops. I don’t understand the low ratings. Excellent.
