Bottle - from sampler pack. Orange-brown, cloudy. Very little aroma. Somewhat roasty and spicy. Not bad.

Grey Lodge Pub, Philadelphia tap: pours copper with a small white head. Aroma is nutmeg, butterscotch, malt, and other spice. Taste is spicy with small butterscotch and vanilla notes. Perfectly drinkable, but this is really not an exciting style. ganache (6088) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 9, 2015
Bottle. Nose spice and herbal, subtle chocolate and roast, light woodsy hopping. Pours deep bloody red, dark in the glass and easily confused with a lighter chestnut; head is dense but short, tan. Taste herbal, slight cola, spruce, wppd, paper, mint, faint vanilla, nutmeg. Feel mellow, slightly flat, somewhat crisp but in a fizzy way; strongly nutty, thin body but medium malt development. Has some brown ale muddle, touch of earth, very very restrained fruitiness. Fits the blustery season nicely, and I enjoyed it (but don’t bother offering it in the height of summer). [2015.12.09: 3.3]

Poured in pint a red tinged brown with white head. Aroma was malt heavy with some holiday spice noted but not close to being the main aroma. Appearance was clear reddish brown with creamy off white tiny diminishing head, no lacing. Aromas are holiday spices, sweet toffee sweetness with clean yeasts profile. Taste are caramel malts upfront then soft pine hops. The flavor of cinnamon, vanilla and soft fruity easter finish. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with light body, then average length sweet holiday spice thin finish. Overall a good holiday brew, needs touch of [email protected]
% or more CO2.
Aroma..cinnamon, apple, raisin.
Taste..apple, malt, baking powder.
Look..dark brown, creamy ladtong white head.
Above avg. Carbonation.
Growing into this as i drink. Wasn’t expwcting much, but not bad. I would say an above avg seasonal.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly hazy amber/red, quick head, no real lacing or retention. Aroma of cinnamon, mace and ginger. Taste is spicy sweet. Light bodied, medium carbonation, thin mouth feel. It starts finishing sweet then a nasty after taste. I didn’t care for this at all.
