I was told this is the same as gus IPA? From a bottle with a somewhat viscous pour. Darker hefe looking beer. Big dull somewhat volatile hop aroma. Strong kick in the jaw alky blast on the uptake. Chewing on alky laced green grapefruit pine tar happy BS. What else can be said except that its dead on nasty style. Won’t be able to taste anything else for a while. And, I had to drive out of town to get this? If you like knock you in the head, smack you in the face, punch you in the teeth triple ipa, try this. dmac (6340) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 25, 2015
12oz bottle from Wine King. Poured a chunky orange body under a thick foamy off white head that leaves gobs of lace. Aroma of rotting citrus, skunk weed, bad dough. Big full body, lasting aftertaste, mild carbination, and a scummy mouthfeel. Flavor of dried out grapefruit rind, wet grains, hint of apricot and dried out peach skins, grassy hops, lemon zest on the finish under some dough notes. This one poured a light orange with a white head. Aroma was of piney and grassy hops. Falvor was similar, light citrusy, pretty fruity, light diacytl, and mild caramel. Solid. matthewjk (1104) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Nice showing from a brewery whose beer I don’t try often. This thing is assertive as hell with a full compliment of spicy and piney hops. A good tongue buckler. 12 bottle pour. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 29, 2014
Punchy hoppy and full. Fairly dry and bitter, Hints of grapefruit and a light malt base with lots of hops that come on with a full body through the finish.

Bottle. Amber brown color with almost no head. Sweet malty aroma with a slight alcohol finish. Big bready, sweet, spicy smooth flavor. Way better than I expected from a beer of this style. They do a bang up job on the east side of Pittsburgh. Thanks Dome. Tmoney99 (14623) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 19, 2014
Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations. alexsdad06 (10486) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2014
12 oz bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have dank, pine and citrus hops that overtake the malts a bit. Some caramel malt sweetness and toasted bready malt. Decent body, good bitterness to the finish. Lowe1983 (1605) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2014
Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of floral and citrus hops with a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is of the citrus and pine hops at first. Finishes a little watery but with plenty of bitterness. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2014
12oz bottle. Labeled 8%; 100+ IBU. Best by: September, 2014. Mildly hazy orange amber color. Good thin finger of off-white head. Leaves good, thicker rows of lace. Pretty good, assertive, big piney aroma. Spicy hop. Some bready spicy light caramel malt. Big body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Bigger bitter taste, little sweet. Light hoppy alcohol bite to it. Drinks like it could be 9%, a bit bigger-bodied like a DIPA, too. Pretty solid, flavorful, assertive DIPA.
