Bottle to goblet. Aroma is strong coffee, roasted malt. Taste is the same. Very good. Dark black color, with a thick thick thick tan head. Medium carbonation. Nice beer. Cool bottle. ben4321 (6839) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 19, 2015

Aroma: It has a nice coffee/mocha aroma, a bit of molasses, earthy notes, and roast
Appearance: Dark brown color with a thin tan-to-light brown colored head and light, drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is pretty similar to the aroma, just slightly more bitter and roasty
Palate: The body is medium-plus, with a decently smooth feel, and a fairly short finish
Did sort of an impromptu coffee beer tasting today, drinking this after Whole Hog Espresso Stout. After that one, I just wanted to make sure I could still smell a coffee beer. Anyway, this is one was the better of the two. I enjoyed the mocha-ness of the aroma slightly more than I enjoyed the flavor, but it is a solid overall beer all around.
Bottle (negative points for the label. If you are going to have a sexist label, at least be cleaver about it, which this isn’t.) it’s an average coffee stout, but since this is supposed to be a porter, that’s a bit of a fail. Meh. DiarmaidBHK (6151) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2015
Bottle from Weis Selinsgrove with a label tang looks like it was designed by an oversexed teenager. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves a. Lot of lacing in the glass. Has some coffee notes on the nose and on the tongue. Has a bit of bitterness on the finish. Eh! hfmejias (1297) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - APR 4, 2015
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured brownish black, light brown head, lots of lacing on the glass. Lots of coffee on the nose, roasted malts some caramel and some chocolate. Taste is a nice mix of coffee, chocolate and roast (malts). Nice and drinkable; I won’t have a problem finishing these ones.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2015 Average looking porter with a huge frothy head similar to a root beer float. Coffee and dark chocolate well represnted on the nose. Ton of thick lacing as head dissipates. Soft silky mouthfeel. Medium full body. Rather subdued start flavor wise. Finish brings a bit of bitterness with the coffee. Not in love with this as a whole.
