3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A- Fantastic. Foggy straw yellow body and 2 finger or so soapy white head. The ehad fades to 1/2 finger or so and plenty of lacing is left behind in the glass. The cloudiness is very dynamic as you can see thick clouds swirl about in the glass and some bubbles rising to the top.
S- Nose is pretty typical for a wit. Bready yeast, a touch of citrus and coriander, and a hint of soapiness as well.
T- Flavor upfront somewhat dry and the highlight is coriander with a mild bready backbone. The peppery spice aspects intensify for the finish and a touch of citrus comes through and the yeast backbone becomes slightly more prominent-but the finish overall is pretty clean with only a touch of spice lingering.
M- High carbonation and a lightweight-but full slightly bready, dry body.
D- I like this beer a lot. Its light, drinkable, and full of flavor. This is my first brew from this new brewing company out of Pittsburgh and I look forward to trying other offerings from them. One of the better American wits that is out there.

On tap at Beerhead. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Musk on the nose, soft wheat, a bit of fruit. Medium bodied, warm musk, a bit of banana and yeast. Yeast comes through into the finish, musky and more banana. Easy drinking, nice yeast character, nice wheat.

The appearance was a pale yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly died off. Not much lace, somewhat sliding and stringy.
The aroma had some citrusy sweet hops, white bread, some floral tones, little bit of barnyard, light hay, perfumey sweet cloves, and ended with some dried leaves.
The flavor was sweet all of the way through with a super low key amount of the cloves. Aftertaste was totally sweet and ran into the finish in the same way.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fairly low and the ABV felt fine. Got pretty smooth all around and though I often hate to use this over used word "watery," yes, this would be an example of a beer to say that this is "watery."
Overall, another witbier by an American brewer that keeps it a "session" styled witbier with the lack of the "Belgian spice," a robust Belgian yeast and a thicker body. ginotarugo (70) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2017
UPDATED: APR 13, 2017 My first witbier and it made me want to try more. No alcohol taste, no bitterness, smooth as can be. Decent ABV at 6%. Much better than Great Lakes Holy Moses. Full Pint could improve their packaging though. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Bottle. To be fair, I’m not a big lover of the style. This is pretty close to the style standard, I suppose, and lacks any technical faults, so maybe my rating should be discounted. There’s not much nose on this as-expectedly light, hazy yellow beer. No head whatsoever. Drinks with a very, very light tartness, and just a tinkle of some spiciness, but otherwise this is a fairly hollow glass. Light florals and some bread. Golden pour with ok head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at Smokin Joes.
