COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
While our Cascade Pils is inspired by classic European pilsners, this beer is really a celebration of the fresh, local Cascade hops grown by family farmers right here in our beloved Pacific Northwest. It has intense aromas of citrus and pine, supported by a medium body and dry malty palate. As you savor that unmistakable aroma and long, clean hop finish, tip your hat (and your glass) to the generations of hop farmers who help us live the locavore dream every day. We originally brewed Cascade Pilsner as a special release to celebrate our 26th Anniversary and our Northwest hop growers. It quickly became our fastest growing Full Sail draft beer and our bestselling 22oz. bottle. With that warm consumer response we decided it deserved its own year round six-pack.

Golden with a white head - Malt and hop in the aroma - Good malt body with a good hop bitterness to balance - Malt goes into the finish with hop bitterness - This was nice and refreshing

Bright hops, yeast and grass smells. Pours clear pale gold with a bright white tight head. Big tastes of toast and grass with a distinct lingering hoppy finish. Brightly carbonated with constant champagne bubbles. Big complex flavors for a Pilsner. Quite good.

This is a beer. It’s 6% ABV. It tastes ok. I prefer lighter, crisper pilsners but it’s ok.

Bottle in Alamogordo from Lowe’s after QF-4 photoshoot. Gold color with a long lasting white head. Pretty classic pilsner aroma with yeast and a hint of hops. Clean pilsner flavor with a nice, citrus hop finish. Delicately flavorful; does that make sense?

Bottle from K&L in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, citrus, hops. Taste is pine, earthy citrus. Not getting pilsener. Reminded me of a session IPA (like the other hoppy Pils I’ve had).

Draft. Pours a medium, white poorly retained, white head, with minimal lacing, over a clear, dark yellow (SRM 4) body.......nose is pine, resin citrus peel, mild Pils malts, balance to the hops.......taste is mild malts, slightly corn sweet, mild pine resin, citrus, finishing with a moderate bitter finish, balance to the hops......mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, high carbonation, The hops are dominant in both aroma and flavor, using American hops, making for an India Pils, but not really a true Pilsner. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5

6%ABV. Pilsner. Poured out pale gold. 4°SRM. Nose is beery with light citrus, pale malt, and light wheat aromas. Mouthfeel is watery with a carbonated soda like feel. Palate has pale malt and wheat flour with raw dough. Hops are bitter and reminiscent of old world hops. Finish is medium with an old world hop bitter. A lot of nice old world hop body. Not a lot of brightness. Maybe citrus peel. Refreshing. Not light.
