Pours clear amber with a thin beige head, low retention. Aromas of toffee, toast, nuts, with a light earthy hop note. Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet, a hint of tartness, and a moderately bitter finish. Enjoyably
bitter and nutty, but I’m not usually a fan of the style and this brew doesn’t do anything to change that. biermanny (1) - - JAN 6, 2017 does not count
great example of a good full bodied ale, good amber appearance and aromas when poured. Nice on the palate with a mild hoppy taste gripweed57 (2855) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - SEP 2, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a small tight beige head. Rich toasted malt nose with nutty tendencies. Flavor follows the nose with additional notes of caramel and mocha. Spicy hops come through and offer a nice balance to the sweet maltiness. Well crafted and full of malty goodness. tfontana (1123) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 11, 2016
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Aroma is bread, caramel, nuts. Appearance is dark amber with trace sparkle, 2-finger width frothy beige head and minimal lacing. Taste is as aroma with caramel dominating, late fruit. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and sweet, dry finish. Overall, a nice representative of the style. Not too heavy. klaing (282) - Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2016
Dark Amber with moderate head and carbonation. Sweet nutty malts, very smooth, with some herby hopping for a dry finish. On the brown side of Amber.

5.5%ABV. Amber ale.
Poured out light clear brown. 21ºSRM
Nose is nutty and has for me that odor of old well-conditioned leather.
Mouthfeel is light soap. Palate is actually very sweet and has a bunch of nice toasted malt, but smoother and more mellow than the other ambers I’ve had. Ambers always have an abruptness to the palates that always struck me as a little rude. Full sail’s brew has a very nice smooth easy going palate that has the malt of a malted milkshake, with vanilla beans and a nice creamy finish.

355ml bottle. (6.0% ABV) Pours a clear amber with a thin, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt with a hint of chocolate. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, biscuit, peach and grass with a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. This was actually pretty tasty (as the label states)... for a boring style. bergstaden (3180) - Røros, NORWAY - JUN 15, 2016
Amber with off white head - Sweet malt aroma - Malt body with some caramal notes and some bitterness in the back - The dark malt and hops goes into the finish - This was nice MrBeerFanatic (1069) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2016
Dark caramel almost no head. aromas caramel, toffee, slight zest hop. Flavors zest/citrus hop, caramel, hidden toffee. Medium bodied. Good tasty beer as the label says. Medium sweet. Popoff91 (124) - Oregon, USA - MAY 2, 2016
12-ounce bottles. A bit darker than most ambers. Amber ales tend to be a little boring, and this one doesn’t have any standout qualities, but not bad at all.
