Pours brown with a lasting tanish head. Aroma is strongly sweet with lots of caramel and bread. Taste is sweet but a bit lack luster in comparison. A bit of a bitter finish but not overpowering. Overall a good amber but nothing out of the ordinary

Pours clear amber with a thin beige head, low retention. Aromas of toffee, toast, nuts, with a light earthy hop note. Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet, a hint of tartness, and a moderately bitter finish. Enjoyably bitter and nutty, but Im not usually a fan of the style and this brew doesnt do anything to change that.

great example of a good full bodied ale, good amber appearance and aromas when poured. Nice on the palate with a mild hoppy taste

12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a small tight beige head. Rich toasted malt nose with nutty tendencies. Flavor follows the nose with additional notes of caramel and mocha. Spicy hops come through and offer a nice balance to the sweet maltiness. Well crafted and full of malty goodness.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Aroma is bread, caramel, nuts. Appearance is dark amber with trace sparkle, 2-finger width frothy beige head and minimal lacing. Taste is as aroma with caramel dominating, late fruit. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and sweet, dry finish. Overall, a nice representative of the style. Not too heavy.

Dark Amber with moderate head and carbonation. Sweet nutty malts, very smooth, with some herby hopping for a dry finish. On the brown side of Amber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5.5%ABV. Amber ale. Poured out light clear brown. 21SRM Nose is nutty and has for me that odor of old well-conditioned leather. Mouthfeel is light soap. Palate is actually very sweet and has a bunch of nice toasted malt, but smoother and more mellow than the other ambers Ive had. Ambers always have an abruptness to the palates that always struck me as a little rude. Full sails brew has a very nice smooth easy going palate that has the malt of a malted milkshake, with vanilla beans and a nice creamy finish. Goes on Favorites List !

355ml bottle. (6.0% ABV) Pours a clear amber with a thin, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt with a hint of chocolate. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, biscuit, peach and grass with a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. This was actually pretty tasty (as the label states)... for a boring style.

12-ounce bottles. A bit darker than most ambers. Amber ales tend to be a little boring, and this one doesnt have any standout qualities, but not bad at all.
