great example of a good full bodied ale, good amber appearance and aromas when poured. Nice on the palate with a mild hoppy taste JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 29, 2004
Boy, what a nice beer. Beautiful, mostly clear amber color. Sweet aroma with a hint of hop. The flavor profile is dominated by malt sweetness up front, balanced with fresh dose PNW hops, and leaves a lingering spiciness. I would love to have this beer on tap and drink it all night long. Many thanks to ecrvich. johnroblawson (56) - Ames, Iowa, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Perfectly balanced bitter and sweet caramel. Seems slightly fizzy for its style. Short-lasting head. CaliWill (19) - - FEB 10, 2013
Dark Amber and super yummy! This beer is mostly toasty munich slighty sweet mostly toasty malt flavor yum, with just enough hoppiness to balance it out. What a great beer!
