22oz bomber pours copper with gold edges and a slight haze holding up a thin white head of foam. The mild aroma sends up light wheat and a touch of lemon like citrus. The taste rushes up with a fairly high level of carbonation with a somewhat smooth wheat note below a prickly and modestly tart lemon like acidity and lime sensation. A touch of bubble gum and wheat is noticed into the finish. Basically a lemony mild wheat beer. Hmm. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Thanks to swellbrewer for sharing this one. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is prickly citrus and some mild bread. Flavor is similar- nice baseline berliner with genuine palate-cleansing power. Prickly all the way down with light body and a mildly dry finish. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - OCT 5, 2012
This is just about my to style Berliner Weisse. Pours a light orange with yellow tints. Aroma hints at the tartness but is mild. Taste is initially light tart that washes over the palate followed by a skosh bit of wheat and cereal taste and then a bit of spice heat down the throat. Works for me. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Sampled on 10/2/2012. This Berliner Weiss pours a light to medium yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and cereal, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied Berliner Weisse. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation. Light and refreshing. Moderately tart. Its not quite a traditional Berliner Weisse, but it still has that crisp tartness to it. It also has a touch of apple cider as well. Some lemon zest as well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is tart. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - OCT 2, 2012

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (grain, husks, malt syrup), lightly hoppy (flowers), with light notes of cement, lemon juice, and apple skin.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Berliner Weiss? Huh? More like a batch of golden ale went sour. Very grainy/husky nose, rather industrial smelling (the first sniff made me think of Ukrainian lager, honestly). A drain pour. Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Bottle-purchased at Davidson Liquors in Littleton, CO SEP 2012-pours lite orange with a small soapy white head. nose is of sweet grains, lite white grapes yet not as tart as this beer needs to be. some stale mash in there as well. flavors are mashed grains, lite sweetness, lite tart sourness with lingering pale grains. well, i must say, its not bad however, not what a berliner needs to be. Cool that this brewery attempted to do this very hard style. Very long finish of lingering wet grains and sharp sourness. Ok not great. joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2012
Bottle at Alex.
Hazy amber coloured with a small white head.
Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel with notes of lactic acid.
Fruity flavour of caramel, citrus peel and lemon juice.
Citric finish. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Tasted on 9/21/12 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle purchased at Bottleworks. Pours clear golden with a very thick white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is almost like a malty pilsner with a touch of sour citrus. The flavor is much more tart with some malty notes underlying. The body is light with fizzy carbonation and a medium tart finish. yespr (44807) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 22, 2012
22 fl oz bottle, thanks to fiulijn. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and light grassy. Citric, wheaty and cornish. Bitter and light citric flavoured. Dry and citric into the finish. Tart and dry into the finish.
