COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As a daddy-to-be and a recent graduate of Oregon State Universitys Brewing Sciences program, Jason celebrates his inner college student and his soon-to-be new station in life with Big Daddy J. According to Jason, BDJ is a malt liquor that is simple and delicious. Its golden in color and hopped with Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, perfectly balanced so that its clean and drinkable smoothness makes that 8 percent alcohol go down so easily. Full Sails Brewers Share beers will only be available on tap at Full Sails Tasting Room and Pub in Hood River, Oregon, and at Full Sails Brewery at Riverplace, in Portland, Oregon.

Leighton (21484) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle at RBWG. Pours clear gold with a fine white foam head. It is a sweet beer, with cheap pale malts, some cereal, mellow alcohol. Medium bodies with average carbonation. Sweet finiah with mild alcohol warmth. Not super enjoyable, but drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow gold with white head. Nose/taste of corn, malt, sweet malt and toasted grain. Medium body. Clean.

Clear golden pour with a small white head. Pretty authentic malt liquor aroma here. Sweet grain, a bit of malt, apple juice, and corn sugar. Quite a bit more hoppy than most, though. A bit citrusy even. Sweet corn sugar, apple, grain, and bread. A hint of alcohol, mild pears, and some hints of citrus. Pretty nice hop character, too.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber gold with a big frothy white head and champagne bubbles. Aroma is heavy malt with some noble/earthy hop. Med body. Frothy carb. Flavor is heavy malt, tends to be a bit heavy on sweet, but there’s some earthy/herby hop that tends to cut that way down. It might fairly be described as trying to head towards dry, and there is some bitter. Way better that what’s in most of those 24 oz cans.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange yellow with white head. Aroma is corn malt and grain. Medium mouthfeel with similar flavor to nose, corn malt and grain, a bit metallic in finish.

Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, yeast and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, yeast and a hint of fruitiness with a crisp finish.

Tmoney99 (14609) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle. Poured dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Better then my expectations.

Lubiere (13954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2014
A murky amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, overly sweet fruity maple syrup and light resinous character, OK. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light licorice, so-so. Bottle at 2014 Ottawa Xmas gathering.

Pours a very gently hazed gold with a thin to medium white head. Tons of grain on the nose, only thing keeping it remotely palatable is the apricot Jelly Belly jelly beans that I matched up with it. Medium bodied, grainy, empty aside from the grain. A touch of empty sweet malt, grain, toast, caramel, grain. Empty overall, not much going on. Nothing horrible, but nothing worth drinking.

@RBWG-JAX-22oz bottle-white-yellow/gold. Acorn/sweet grain. T-corn/sweet grain, harsh hop bite.
