651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, well retained white head, with Belgian lacing, over a clear yellow body.....nose is light cereal malts, light DMS, light fusel alcohols, hints of herbal hops, no esters, balance to the malts.....taste is slightly sweet, with hints of pear, apple, becoming bitter, balanced......mouth feel, light body, slight alcohol type burn, no astringency, slight acid, carbonation high. The alcohol is high for the style. The malts are a bit light and some of the aromas and flavors are unpleasant. It is really not clean enough for the style. It should be light, clean, crisp, refreshing, somewhat malt forward and thoroughly enjoyable. This is not. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6 Ernest (7692) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Head is initially very small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, corn, malt syrup, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers), with notes of diesel fuel, metal, detergent, DMS.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean, slightly husky.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
WOW. Fantastically terrible. They even managed to get fusels out of this! Overly sweet with a dirty aftertaste. Syrupy texture. Virtually no head. Literally nothing is good about it. I expected something at least drinkable, based on the Session Lager, but damn...this is truly hilarious. When even Bonfire beats you at making a lager, it’s time to rethink your strategy. stevoj (5031) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 28, 2014
A bit on the sweet side, enough sweet grain to push it over near the pale lager boundary. Clear golden with abundant foamy (and fast receding ) head. Aroma is sweet grains, taste more of the same, finish also. A good hot weather beer BuckeyeBoy (7663) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 27, 2014
22oz bottle. Pours out a crisp golden color topped with a white head. Nose is bread malts fresh cut grass and some fruit notes. Taste is as the nose with lots of bread malts some sweetness and the grass on the end. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 24, 2014
These 22’s have been around Boise for a couple of weeks now.. Finally got around to picking some up over the weekend... Poured one tonight into my CC Teku... short-lived white head... no real lacing as expected.. The brew is perfect bright pale golden.. Clean pale malt with spot-on hoppy balance from the bitterness and the light residual grassy hoppy flavor.. Drinkability is off the charts.. I love a proper Helles and Full Sail really nailed this one.

Nose of soft malt with light bread. Subtly bitterness with a light peppery finish. Semi sweet finish.

Draught. I got this at the brew pub in Hood River the day of the release. They were super nice and let us grab a pint at 3 even though it was not supposed to be tapped until 5 as we were heading out of town. Stylistically this is great. However stacked up against other styles this is a beer that’s hard to love. Light, slightly malty, and refreshing.
