Bottle:   Coppery amber appearance, thin sudsy off-white head, sparce lacing.   Toasty nose.   On the tongue its somewhat thin, simple, very pale breadiness and lightly toasted malts.   Comes across as somewhat simple.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes slightly meatly, a bit nutty, with a very light mealiness.   Pretty boring overall.   Not bad, but simple and light.   At least lighter than other Altbiers. 22oz bottle 7/25/12 (Whole Foods Austin)-Pours a medium ruby red with a small head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with more malt and caramel. This medium bodied brew is not my favorite style but this is well balanced and quite tasty. Ratman197 (14826) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Bomber poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of toasted malt, earthiness, light carmel and light toffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of toasted malt, earthiness, toffee and light carmel with a smooth lingering toasted malt finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 14, 2012
22oz bottle. Large off-white head atop clear, deep amber body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, toasted caramel, some orange/peach, light earthy, raisin. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, toast, earthy/orange, some raisin. Light-medium body, light resin/stickiness. anderson01 (356) - Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Dark ruby red in color with a thick Bubbly head. Lacing is very poor. Malty aroma. Vanilla and Caramel notes. Toasted peanuts also noticeable in the aroma. Taste like liquid peanut butter. Watery texture with a abrupt finish. Light-bodied with low carbonation. For the price a good beer.

22 oz. bottle- Pours autumn amber with a nice rocky light tan head. The aroma is malty sweet, caramel, nutty, some hops, but very little. Taste is caramel malt, sweet, brown sugary, but drinkable. Body is a little thin, and carbonation is a little light, and that is my biggest problem with the beer, but it makes it sessionable. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Pours an amber color with a one finger head that laces out quickly... Aromas are very subtle...malty caramel a touch of watered down scotch and a hint of nuttiness. On the palate is has a similar mouthfeel to a small beer...a balanced easy drinker with a malty round body that brightens up with a hit of noble hop bitterness in the finish. Not bad...a couple weeks past its expiration. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2012
From a bottle poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Light malty flavor with a toasty finish. jimmie65 (330) - Texas, USA - JUL 4, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2012 Brown pour, no head, little lacing. Aroma is very light - caramel, grain, mild nuttiness. Sharp bitter, sweet, sour. Some citrus, hops, grain, dark fruit. Lingering finish.
Improves as you drink it. Syzzer (647) - Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Mellow balance of malt and slight bitter. Copper in color. Perhaps better after having the beer acquire room temp.
