Beautiful clear copper color. Minimal aroma. Fruity, and a mineral note, then the dry finish. Not my favorite style, but this is a very drinkable example.
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a nut brown-caramel color with a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with toasted caramel and nut. The flavor was initially sweetish, malty and toasty with honey and caramel followed by light fruity hops but there was an astringent medicinal note underneath that grew as it warmed and became distracting. Long finish. Medium body. Meh. BuckeyeBoy (7748) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 5, 2016
22oz bottle pours out a dark amber topped with a sand head. Nose is some toast malts wood a little pit fruit sweetness. Taste is more of the toasted malts light sweetness a nice bitterness on the end. slowrunner77 (12060) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 25, 2015
starting to realize I haven’t been a big fan of the brewer’s share beers so far. this one was pretty good...a malty toasted example of the style...about average or slightly better. one timer. Jeffsayyes (51) - - FEB 1, 2015
Got in Connecticut, didnt realize it was from Oregon. Thats cool, I like the concept. This is easy to drink though to drink a whole bottle might get me sick.

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer is pretty much clear and deep amber. A beige head sits atop. I wish the aroma were bigger. It brings grain, caramel, and a little fruit. Flavor is grain with caramel and some harshness. At some point a little fruit pops in along with dark fruit. Some sourness in the finish of each sip. Some nuttiness is tasted late. Towards the finish the hops moved up into a nice balance. Just a hint of mintiness there, too. This was certainly a modern take on an Alt and it was a nice one.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours dark and clear amber. Off white head. Good lacing. Nose is roasted malts, some fruit, and floral and grassy hops. Body is medium and mouth feel is average. The flavor is ripe fruit, some floral hops, light bitterness, and some sour astringency. As it warms it smooths out and ends up tasting of nuts and lightly bitter. The beer went down easy and the 22-oz was gone before I knew it. Nice. rocbyter (2127) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Malt aroma with a very light amount of sour grain. Clear orange-red color with a small off white head. Sweet smooth beginning with a light bitter finish. thegreenrooster (4407) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a decent dark bread malty. Flavor is a little bland. The malty backbone is there but this really show its lager side by being a bit watery and some wet paper bag showing. This was just ok. Too watery to give it a better score. Nice amber color, nice medium foamy head.
Caramel nose and taste. Medium intense . Balanced a bit weak. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - AUG 23, 2014
Looks great. Big foamy head like in the beer halls in Düsseldorf. Clear light brown color. Light toasted malt. A little to sweet and to bitter in the end compared to a tie alt but very good. Reminds me of Im Fuchsen in bitterness. Nice!
