(bottle) dark copper with tan head. Malt aroma. Flavor is bready malt with some grassy hops finish. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle. Light brown with pillowy tan head and decent lacing. Smells like a sticky bin with raisins and metal. Tastes sweet initially then a mild hop kicks in. Full mouth feel, mild hop finish with a hint of pithiness. Not bad. conway (2210) - - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark ruby with a thin white head. Aroma is a bit nutty. Taste adds some dark fruit and a strong pilsner malt finish. Mouthfeel is light with a crisp carb. Solid lagerish beer. Good intro to alt.

22 oz. bottle- Pours autumn amber with a nice rocky light tan head. The aroma is malty sweet, caramel, nutty, some hops, but very little. Taste is caramel malt, sweet, brown sugary, but drinkable. Body is a little thin, and carbonation is a little light, and that is my biggest problem with the beer, but it makes it sessionable. rocbyter (2147) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Malt aroma with a very light amount of sour grain. Clear orange-red color with a small off white head. Sweet smooth beginning with a light bitter finish.

Pours out a beautiful deep copper-brown color with big frothy tan head. Good carbonation and aroma. Flavor is multiple layers of nutty and roasty malts. Some caramel, some toffee. Well balanced and not sweet. Very slightly fruity. Smooth and very drinkable. A very nice example of this often under-rated and under-appreciated style. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Nice malt flavors that make for a very drinkable beer. Hops are balanced and leave a bit on the palate but not too much. Decent alcohol level so it is not overpowering. Highly drinkable and enjoyable. zoucrew102 (2054) - - FEB 14, 2014
Bomber. Sweet caramel malt aroma to start followed by toasty malt and some nuttiness. Pours caramel-copper colored with a light, off-white head and some lacing. Some sweetness from the caramel malt to start, but as pronounced as in the aroma. Nuttiness and hops quickly overpower what sweetness there was. Finishes dry and quite bitter. Enjoy by date was august of 2013. Wonder if I would like liked it better before that.

A clear copper body with a thin white head that had excellent retention. Lacing was decent. Aroma had a nice caramel malt presence initially. Some fruit notes and a slight spicy hop note. Flavor was mostly sweet from the caramel malts. A nice estery fruitiness to it. Mild noble hops. Light on the palate.

Bomber: Pour is mahogany brown with copper highlights and a thick off white head.
aroma is sweet caramel and dusty vienna malt. light woody hop.
flavour is pronouncedly sweet though not overpoweringly. Strong caramel and and toffee blend with toasted malt, nutty and woody tones and a floral earthy bitterness lingers in the finish masking the sweetness. All round decent and drinkable.
