Bomber: Pour is mahogany brown with copper highlights and a thick off white head.
aroma is sweet caramel and dusty vienna malt. light woody hop.
flavour is pronouncedly sweet though not overpoweringly. Strong caramel and and toffee blend with toasted malt, nutty and woody tones and a floral earthy bitterness lingers in the finish masking the sweetness. All round decent and drinkable. bigguns22 (798) - Maryland, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Complex and delicious. Pour is like apple cider with a nice head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruit and a little hop. Good flavors that are all over the place malts, hops, sour but just a touch and dry but still fruity like dates. spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - OCT 14, 2008
From a growler fill at the brewery in Hood River. Pours deep amber with a one inch head and modest lacings. Aroma is malty. The taste is tangy bitter hops with enough tasted malts to balance the flavor. Finish is bitter and smooth. Good session brew at 5.1% abv. Good job Phil!

Nice malt flavors that make for a very drinkable beer. Hops are balanced and leave a bit on the palate but not too much. Decent alcohol level so it is not overpowering. Highly drinkable and enjoyable. TheBeerGod (6224) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Bottle. Dark copper with a short, foamy tan head. Aroma is hoppy and slightly spicy with caramel notes, grains, bread and grassy notes. Taste is caramel, spicy hops, grassy notes, earthy hops, sweet malt and bread. Body is medium with a strong, fizzy carbonation. Finishes with more caramel, grains, bread, sweet malt, soft fruit notes, earthy hops and grassy notes. bhensonb (15235) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of smooth roast malt and perhaps a bit of grassy hop. Med body. Flavor is primarily smooth roast malt, and I think the hops are grassy. The finish approaches astringent, and the malt seems to provide bitter. It’s certainly bitter, and it tends towards dry. Excellent. SDalkoholic (2393) - Linda Vista, California, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Bottle from Sprout’s: Poured a dark tea brown color topped with a thick layer of frothy head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and toffee like malts but also catch a whiff of cereal as well. The drink comes across nicely balanced with firm backing of sweet syrupy malts that suggest caramel and burnt sugar while also delivering a gentle usage of hops. Finish leaves behind a taste of green tea. waolsen (1376) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - SEP 3, 2012
