Bottle @ home. Pours a deep reddish orange appearance with a big, light brown head. Quite rich caramel, Munich malty, toffee, light citrusy, straw aroma. A little fruity (apple, pear), toasty caramel malty, toffee, grassy, earthy, a bit nutty flavor with a floral, herbal, grassy aftertaste. A little too sweet for my taste. A bit of a disappointment but not all that bad. JStax (7316) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a Belgian style tulip glass. Pours a translucent amber with a thick froth of beige foam. Aroma is sweet and carrot cake-y with a nice hop bitterness coming through. Taste is a touch sweet at first, but moves toward a nicely bitter finish. Its an interesting take on the style. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2012
(22oz bottle, courtesy of thirdeye11) Pours a clear amber body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, raisins, and florals. Flavor of caramel, smoked grains, nuts, and orange.

22 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent light brown with maybe a shade of amber, sat very still in the glass. White ring for a head with tiny whisps of the same color, aroma of toasted wheat and a hint of rye. Hits the mouth with an even medium body, malt was fairly and nicely toasted, some hearty firmness in the middle, finish is slightly bittering and makes me want to add some Everclear to speed up the process... but in due time... The color is med amber with a light brown head. I smell sweetness of fruits, caramel and I taste the same with bitterness and some nuttyness. It finish clean and fresh. Crispy34 (496) - Texas, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bomber. The smell is sweet and malty to me, with a little funk. The appearance is a light brown with a creamy head. The taste is a sour malt taste that finishes a dry sour. The palate is a dry sour, with a funky malt aftertaste. Overall, this beer is ok. Alts are not my favorite, so that prolly has something to do with it as well. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle. Light brown with pillowy tan head and decent lacing. Smells like a sticky bin with raisins and metal. Tastes sweet initially then a mild hop kicks in. Full mouth feel, mild hop finish with a hint of pithiness. Not bad. gringo332 (649) - Richardson, Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted caramel malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
