T:citrus, pine, resin, bready, caramely sweet
A well crafted beer, just not very interesting.
22. Pours a murky burnished dark amber with a scant, loose, whitish head. Mild nose of caramel and oranges. Even fairly cold (as this is being served), this is a ridiculously subdued nose for 7.5%. That right there is reason enough to take the "imperial" off the label. To say nothing of the fact that numerous house IPAs hit that abv. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, toast, and oranges on the mid palate. Not sure how you list five hop varieties and use the word "copious" in the same sentence when this is the aromatic and flavor profile that results from your recipe. A nice-enough beer, but clearly has delusions of grandeur thanks to the marketing department. Gooney (389) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 11, 2011
22 oz bottle - Very strong hops aroma. A hint of citrus surrounded by hay. Nice. Tastes just as good. This one’s a winner! dionysian_son (277) - Colorado, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Honey colored with thin white head. Nose with light orange and pollen. Medium in the mouth with thin grassy notes, lavender, and bit of honey. Ends with a bitter grassy hop finish. theyshookhands (243) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2011
Pours slightly hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, orange zest and lemon. Has a strong hop flavour, citrus, orange, some spices and a nice malt compliment. Pretty damn good.

A very rich sweet aroma; inbetween a 90 and 120-minute Dogfish. The flavor is a bit less in mouthfeel than what you’d expect but has a very strong finish. Lots of bittering hops, yet just not that great. bhensonb (15098) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a creamy, bubbly near-white head. Aromas of fruit and floral - definitely some citrus. Med body. Flavor is light stone fruit, grapefruit rind, floral, and maybe, just maybe, a hint of malt. It’s that good. Yummy. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2011
22oz bottle poured into a Snifter at 43°. Color is a hazy pale gold with good carbonation and a small white head. Aroma is citrus, lemon up front and a bit of dried orange peel, then a some caramel in the back. It has a medium body that goes down with a light smooth mouth feel. Flavor is a beautifully light taste of orange with a touch of dried fruit and toffee then a mellow bitterness rolls in. After taste is a light dry feel as the citrus goes to a lemon like grapefruit taste and the hops show a hint of their floral notes. Overall that is an amazing brew with a very complex flavor and yet is light and easy to drink. Best of all this bottle was only $3.99 showing a kick ass brew can be made at a fair price, great job. One sided aroma and bitterness . Not getting the orange as mentioned in description , just doesn’t’ inspire me. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - SEP 5, 2011
From a bottle poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Hoppy flavor with a quick finish.
