COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
New for 2011, this Imperial IPA’s full malt body is elevated by the loads of hop flavor and bitterness. Copious amounts of Citra, Chinook, Columbus, Cascade and Centennial hops are used to give this beer a wonderful aroma of orange zest and lemon. This fruitiness from the hops is complimented by a nice caramel biscuit malt flavor from the pale and crystal malts and finishes balanced with a slight hop kick. This beer was dry hopped for your enjoyment. Available in 22oz Bottles and Draught ABV 7.5% IBUs: 80

Bomber from Safeway. Hazy orange-gold pour with a short, off-white head leaving minimal lace. Medium-heavy body with moderate, fine carbonation. Nose is fruit and citrus. Fruit, biscuit and caramel malt with citrus rind and pine hops. Balance is interesting. I wouldn’t call this a typical West Coast hop-forward IIPA. I actually prefer some other of Full Sail’s Pales, IPAs and IIPAs.

Very hazy orange-amber with a brief off-white head. Highly aromatic with tons of tangy citrus. Flavor hits with an upfront piny bitter assault atop biscuit malt, then a brief bit of caramel, and finally a dry, grassy but fruity tangerine finish with plenty of lingering bitterness. This is one of the better offerings from Full Sail.

The nose is very floral and grassy with a mild sugary sweetness. The taste starts with citrusy grapefruit up front, floral and perfumey hops take over coming in behind the initial citrus hit. Smoothing sugary sweetness underneath the hops and into the finish.

22 oz bottle: Pours a bright but cloudy orange with a moderate white head and adequate carbonation. Aroma is balanced with no major scents overbearing. Taste is also balanced and fairly malty for an IIPA. Palate was dry and finished a little sour. Decent brew but not the most interesting.

22 oz bottle - Very strong hops aroma. A hint of citrus surrounded by hay. Nice. Tastes just as good. This one’s a winner!

strong floral hops honey like malts and perhaps a piney presence too in the aroma.. appearance the usual ipa look clear amber orange liquid white dissipating head but good lacing..tatse is hoppy indeed..grassy piney spicy citrus and floral malt component comes out with warmth..palates a four light-medium bodied but again strong hoppy bitterness..overall a little one dimensional but good and not expensive(4.99 per 22 0z bottle)

Honey colored with thin white head. Nose with light orange and pollen. Medium in the mouth with thin grassy notes, lavender, and bit of honey. Ends with a bitter grassy hop finish.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, orange zest and lemon. Has a strong hop flavour, citrus, orange, some spices and a nice malt compliment. Pretty damn good.

Bomber to tulip glass. Amber with a medium beige head. Nice citrus aroma. Prominent citrus taste. Well hopped. Not overly powerful. Very well balanced IIPA (never thought I’d say that). Its flavorful and tastes like an IIPA without being as "forceful" as some other IIPAs. Definitely not common among IIPAs. Not my favorite, but definitely worth the reasonable price of $4.50. Not many IIPAs for under $5. Its also a very easy drinking beer. I would recommend it for those new to the IIPAs
